This Privacy Policy explains how Ellipsis ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Service at useellipsis.com. We take your privacy seriously and keep data collection to the minimum necessary to run the app.
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo via Google OAuth, managed by Clerk. We do not receive your Google password.
App data: We store the content you create — activities, sparks, goals, workbook answers, sleep schedules, and notes — in order to provide the Service. This data is stored in a Supabase database associated with your account.
Usage data: We may collect basic technical information such as browser type and error logs to help diagnose issues. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your data is removed from our database within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and Clerk's secure authentication system. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Ellipsis is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
